This collection of films, charts some very interesting periods in British aircraft development. From the Meteor to the Vulcan and Lightning there are a great many aircraft shown although each aircraft is only given a very short feature as the makers of the films try to include as many aircraft as possible.

Many of the aircraft in these films are experimental prototypes and it is interesting to see the development of some of these aircraft in later films such as the Vulcan and the disappearance of others which fall by the wayside such as the Westland Westminster, Fairy Ultralight and Bristol Brabazon.

Although there are some very interesting clips of rare aircraft in this compilation, the films are aimed at the viewer with only a passing interest in aviation and so there is only general information given and each aircraft is only shown for a very short time although many of the aircraft appear in several of the films.

A little question… In this file i saw 1949 and 1950 editions but the title reports 1949-1959 editions…

So i think… is this the part one of a series or i have problems with the file?

The copy I downloaded had 1949 to 1959, so i don`t know what`s happened.
