Really unique historical video, a little bit home-made but still extremely interesting. It is March 1993 - last Tu-16 flights from naval airbase at Severomorsk-3. Made by Beloglintsev Alexandr.
Video was brought to us by the Smotr program creator directly from Severomorsk-3.

Great video, very interesting to see the Badger operations in the deep winter season.
The noise while beggining to taxi is nice!
Does Aviapedia have a good Tu-160 video? I’m looking for many time for a good Tu-160 video, specially to see and hear the engines power!!
Thanks for sharing!!

На этом красивом самолете я отлетал 18 лет..
В фильме много суеты,сказалось отсутствие опыта у оператора - ИМХО.В те времена особо-то не давали снимать.Да и качество конечно не цыфра.Но все ж - за душу берет….

“Those who don’t miss USSR have no heart.”
I am proud that I grew up in Severomorsk 1. And I still believe that the Soviet navy Pilots were the best of the best.
Couls we say that this bomber is a last plane of the Stalin era? It was designed in late 40s - early 50s.
Is it true that RD-3M was made after a Rolls Royce turbojet?

We can see the old plane flying in the world yet…
recently, china developed a modified Tu-16, called H6, which powered by two new engines
