Tu-95 “Bear” strategic bomber video - training flight from Engels airbase, Russia. Amazing, absolutely “must see” video. Take-off, air refuelling, Norwegian air forces F-16 escort, night landing - usual long-range aviation pilot working day.
Isn’t it beautiful?

  2. That mission was obviously flown to celebrate some event or anniversary (see regimental flag, orchestra etc) Does anyone know more about it?

  3. Almost true. It wasn’t celebration, but it was big massive training excercise. About 12-14 Tu-95MS and 4 Il-78 were used in this training flight.
Each such big training starts with flag, orchestra and everything.
