Nice video of Beriev’s Be-12 ‘Mail’ by NATO designation or ‘Seagull’ or ‘Chaika’ by Russian name. Be-12 is amphibious aircraft, on the video you can see Be-12P-200 modification for the fire-fighting. It is filling water tanks directly on the flight, without stopping, only sliding over the sea surface. Besides, excellent water landing footage. Great aircraft.

Vesti news program from “RTR” Russian TV channel reports: two Tu-144 airplanes, assigned to the Zhukovsky airbase, were sold to two private companies. Companies are going to cut them into pieces and resell as a nonferrous scrap (back to the state most possibly). One of the planes has already lost part of the aluminium facing under the wings.

L-39

L-39 jet-plane is used by Rus aerobatic team. All the miracles of aerobatic we can see from the land, Rus pilots are doing on this plane. A little bit old already, but still very manoeuvrable and useful. All the photos have been made by me personally, when I went to training base near the Moscow and flew this plane together with one of Rus pilots.
