Quote:
"amram missiles lock on their targets and they will not let you go until you’re down…"

Unless you are not notice a missile is approaching you, the missile can be dodged in many ways. Su-47 is having a lower RCS compared to other Russian aircrafts (thanks to its RAM paint), means an attacker will have difficulty to target Su-47. Get closer to Su-47 and you will be seen. Launch your missile farther but it will be dodged easier. Dodge is not a moron move. If a defender can make the dodge (surviving), the direction (at least) of the attacker is likely to be revealed.

However, it is unfair to compare Su-47 with Raptor. Su-47 is not meant to be operational, and apparently have no radar installed (Correct me if I’m wrong, and please post the detail of the radar).

Thanks =)

the most important thing in building fighter plane is the ability to win a fight and gain air superiority no matter how beautiful a plane looks like... if you cant see your enemy what good are you, a sitting duck for your enemy to fire missiles at you and all you will do is maneuver or dodge their missiles? morons... amram missiles lock on their targets and they will not let you go until you're down... so how far can SU-47 go with that... ow by the way, F22 have at least 6 of it. hahaha

The F22 can take out a non- stealthe aircraft before the other aircraft even knows what hit them with a crusing speed of M1.7 with no burners the SU 47 would be had pressed to catch the 22 if it could see it, and if you want to see where the fisrt for the reverse wing aircraft look up the X29 from the early 80's

es increible , bonito, mejor que los iuneits staits. bai

it’incredible this aircraft (su 47 n’ all his family )best that any aircraf in the word , the f22 it’s just a toy too spance, needs awacs n’ satellit, this transmition is send by fm or am radio to f 22 , and this is his simple secret of steal development , it’s easy to detect in anywhere place in the sky .

The F-22 feeds info to the A.W.A.C.S., it has the radar cross section of a common house fly, it can fly and complete it's mission in COMPLETE radio silence and What kind of plane needs a satelite?!

But yea, the Golden Bear kicks ass! "Berkut is Russian for Golden Bear"

Could easily out manouver the F-22 with it's forward and aft canards, and forward swept wings! If it had thrust vectoring... Wow...

Su-27, 37, and 47.. Best planes EVER! all by Sukhoi too.

The positioning of horizontal stabilisor and canards during the slow pass indicates this bird has a hell of a lot of relaxed stability (it's very unstable) and this gives good agility. The
contrails at the wingtips is probably due to the foreward sweep, you dont get the flow seperation near the tips as much as you do in sweepback so a larger pressure difference occurs between the underside and upperside of the wing near to the tip(outboard) and hence stronger tip vortices.
