This documentary film tells the story of the creation and the reasons behind the eventual cancellation and destruction of the Avro CF-105 Arrow.

It does this through films and interviews made at the time of the aircraft`s development as well as later interviews with key personnel as they look back on the project.

When the project was cancelled the completed aircraft were scrapped.

Of particular interest is the way that equal time is given to people who supported the programme and people who were instrumental in the cancellation of the aircraft so the viewer is given both sides of the story and enough information to make an informed opinion for themselves.
