I’m happy to announce Aviapedia has started to offer visitors normal full-length aviation movies for the download. As I’ve told before, I have great collection of movies and I hope with time I will provide all the aviation fans with all of them.

Unfortunately, such amount of content cannot be offered in click-download mode, so
in order to download films and movies from Aviapedia you will have to use BitTorrent client.

After setting up BitTorrent client you are openning torrent file you’ve downloaded from Aviapedia in associated program and it starts downloading.

BitTorrent client usage is simple and very similar to any ftp client usage. This is what you need to know to start downloading movies from Aviapedia.

And here is some additional info. BitTorrent is a peer-to-peer (P2P) file sharing communications protocol. In other words - every person, who had once succeeded in downloading any file or part of the file from that moment starts to be server by itself and sharing this file to other P2P network members. Which means - the more people had downloaded the file, the faster and more accessible it becomes to new visitors who wants to get it. The main rule for everybody who join P2P network is: “Stay on seeding as long as it possible and comfortable for you - allow other people to download the file you share”

Which means - if you have possibility to keep BitTorrent client running after you successfully had downloaded your file - do it. Let other people enjoy the films you like. The more people stays online - the faster downloading speed you have. You are offering files you already have - somebody will share with you file that you want.

What I’m doing from my side is: server Aviapedia.com is the constant seeder (the one who shares the file) which means - even if all the people in P2P network will logoff, still any file that you see on Aviapedia will be available for downloading, though speed of the downloading will not be maximal.
