Hello all,
This is my first time posting on this site. I am very interested in warplanes of all kinds, from all periods of history, and from all countries. One of my favorite airplanes is the Avro Lancaster. I am looking for information on the following aircraft, and any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks

Wikipedia and google should do the trick, in general. You'll find a lot of info if you do quick searches there.

Then, if you're interested in something particular, be free to ask.

Hi! The latest newsletter of the Art of War webpage features a good article on the Lancaster that is flying, along with photoes. I sent the article to Pavel. (Did not have your e-address). Maybe he would forward it to you.

Just wondering, thought you might be in England. There is a flyable Lancaster at the Royal Airforce Museum at RAF Duxford, just west of Cambridge (north of London). If you ever find yourself in London, it's about a hour north.

Argentina bought 15 Lancasters after WWII, it was the only Latin American country to ever have strategic bombers. The most interesting of all is that these bombers were adapted to use the PT1 air-surface missile, developed in Argentina in the early 50's. This missile, by the way, is strongly based on German missiles from the war. But it never went operational, only 3 tests were done, and all of them failed.
One of these Lancaster is preserved in the National Air Museum, I saw this plane in 2003, when I went there. Unfortunately, it is not well kept, as it stands on the tarmac, exposed to sun and rain.
The PT1 missile and an Argentine Lancaster:
