It seems that the Russian Air Force will really get an important number of Su-35BM:
"The state armament program for 2006-2015, adopted in 2006, envisages mass production of the Su-35BM for the Russian Air Force, and the Defense Ministry is expected to purchase 182 of these aircraft. In addition, technology developed within the Su-35 project will be used to upgrade the Su-27s to the Su-27CM2 [I guess they mean Su-27SM2] standard." (http://en.rian.ru/analysis/20080709/113624747.html) It seems logical. Mass production of PAK FA will start around 2013, but it will take some years until it is fully available. To have around 180 Su-35BM will be very useful for the Russian Air Force until then. Also, I am quite sure it surpasses any other 4+ generation fighter, like the Super Hornet, Rafale, Typhoon or Gripen.

The nations that have created space flight did this for nationalistic reasons; ironically, almost everyone who has been in space had an overwhelming vision of a transnational perspective, of Earth as a single world."
