with the weapons bays locatated in the locations on the CAD drawing the inlet ducting must be very very inefficent, the rear end almost mirrors the f-22 i am willing to be that the production aircraft will be changed to dual inlets per the f-22.

He will have S type air intakes to hide engine fan from radars, the space for weapons bays is not the part of an air intake, it's below him. The other project is copy of F-22, probably J-12.

Just an open question:
-What do you think about the tile-covered skin of this fighter (last picture)? What is it for? Another comment is errata: The shown wind tunnell modell is the F-22, I have that from a NASA-site without the Chinese writings. At about the end of 2005 I have sent that picture to aviapedia along with the compared J-12 wind tunnell modell's pictures

This one is the J-12's windtunnell pressure-field.
The one in the earlier series of photoes was F-22 regardless of the alphabet and narration.
