Guys, I would like to invite you to participate in Aviapedia calendar
I've already started it, you can see it by "Today's events" section at the bottom of Forum mainpage

I think it's quite nice tool, I've put there some major airshows events for this 2007 year. As well as we will see all the forum members birthdays there
I ask you to put any Aviation-related dates with comments there, both from the past and from the future. It will be interesting to track it later.

You can do it through Add New Event button in calendar.

For example:
15 December 2006 - first two serial Su-34 were passed to the Russian Air Forces (can go with link to some article, or forum thread). - it's "Single, All Day Event"
21-26 August 2007 - MAKS 2007 (it's "Ranged Event")
12 August - The Russian Air Force Day (it's "Recurring Event")

I thinks alltogether we can build something very interesting out of it

I've added event and some info about The Russian Air Force Day (12 August) and Strizhi aerobatic team birtdate (6 May), and Sergey has addded Long-range aviation day (23 December).

If you check the performances, it says at the bottom that more events will be added. Last time I was there they had an F-117 there, and a bunch of stuff not mentioned. I would also think they would have a B-70 Valkyrie, I WANT to see thatvey badly.

not likely, isnt there only 1 xb70 left and its a static display now i thought.

although barksdale AFB has a xb70 crew cabsule among other static displays.
