Looks like the NASA AD-1 oblique wing research aircraft.
It was special because it could pivot it`s wings to give the best configuration for the speed it was at as shown in this picture.

Blackburn B-20. Very interesting concept. (For those who haven't, Google 'Blackburn B-20' or 'retractable hull flying boat' and look at the Wikipedia article.)
But that's not the way I found it... 'Air International' had an article on it a few months ago.

My next: This one did reach production, although only 3 were built.

Question Rutan?

This is a guess-worth only. The Learfan and the Starship crossbreed it seems to me.
But some So.Calif. firm did it, as I remember from Santa Something.

Certainly the design (started 1983) appears to be influenced by the Beech Starship (design started 1979), and possibly by some of Burt Rutan's work.
It's by a company out of Long Beach, CA.
Hint: It's the same company which subsequently bought out Mooney.

After much googling it`s an AASI Jetcruzer 500.

I apologise for the poor quality of this photo but can you identify these aircraft from top to bottom.

Correct, TW.

I'm sure your pic has been posted before. (Just searched... post #210)

Top down: Pirate, Cougar/Panther, Banshee, Cutlass.

I'm posting at work, so if anyone else wants to put up a pic, go ahead.
