Mr. Kuznetsov,
1. I would like to ask You something about Mi-28N and it's engines, as I know it's engines is TV3-117 serial produced by Klimov plant in russia and Motor Sich in ukraine. But I read one article on arms-tass and they say that engines for mi-28 are producing in Ukraine and then transfer to russia? Is this mean that klimov stop production of these engines? Also what happend with VK-2500 engine will it be installed on mi-28 or not? (Do You have any pictures of mi-28 cockpit?) Also Do You have any information about ka-60 and will it go in serial production or not? Thank You on Your time |

I've found this one, but I think it's old Mi-28, not the latest Mi-28N

Yes, right now engines TV3-117 are being produced in Zaporozhye, Ukraine. There are plans to move this production to Russia, but nothing exact for now.
VK-2500 are being produced only on Klimov's plant now. Klimov's plant is not a serial production, it doesn't have enough scale for it. So all the VK-2500 engines (not too much) it produces, goes for export in Mi-17 helis, to China, Venezuela etc. It is planned Mi-28N will have VK-2500 engines, but there is no free engines for it now. Most probably it will be Chernishov plant to launch serial production on VK-2500. Ka-60 is passing tests right now. |
