There is a new airframe by Sukhoi, a completely new design in fact: the PAK FA. The first prototype is being built, it will fly late this year or in the beginning of 2009, and it will be the first 5th generation fighter designed and built outside the US. Contrarily to the S-37, it will be an operational fighter, and will be in service around 2013-2015.

Can't wait! Hopefully it will have the streamlined look and internal weapons bay like the S 37. Sukhoi almost always delivers, maybe it would have the long range of the Flanker series with state of the art avionics. But, I don't see much promise in the reverse wing design.

Very few is known so far about PAK FA, it is still mostly classified, but it will be stealth, so it surely will have an internal weapons bay. And according to Sukhoi, it won't have the forward-swept wings.
