Well maybe not most, but instead of concentrating their money on developing practical radar they chose to dump a lot of money and research into the “death ray”.

I think they still put more money into the development of rockets and jets, chemical and biological weapons, nuclear weapons, ect…

Oh, here in Europe I am not able to chat with my older (!!!) friends in Calif., who knew the design and the type (after all test flight heaven was there).
