Stuka! I think it just looks great with the fixed landing gear and gull wings and all.

FW-190D9, looks so cool with that looong nose. Or, better, Ta-152, which has a more refined engine cowling.

Thumbs up Fav

Mine is the good old BF-109!!!! I also agree with you Carlo the Dora nine was quite a great machine, and HunterFN's choice is good too. There is something about the Stuka that i like, don't know what it is though, lol. My favorite allied is the beloved Spitfire. In my opinion that is the most gorgeous aircraft i have ever seen!

Thumbs down the Silver Arrow

Few knows about it, but the big guys (Me, Fw, He...) did not like it. Neither would have the opponents, according to the numbers. So it had to crash.

I love I-16 lately so much... for me it looks to be the last plane that required so tough flying skills. After Bf-109 came into this world it become mostly "the right one is the highest one", but not in the tight turns which I love so much

Talking nice

Good choice, Pavel. i have always liked the I-16... a tough, tubby little plane, that fought heroically against all odds until better planes came into service. Cheers, and clear skies to you!!

While my answer seems to be obvious it's not that easy.
I really like the Ju 87, it's one of it's kind thanks to the siren. But there were so many great planes.
Among them the Arado Jet Bomber is another absolute favorite of mine.

Stuka is right. There are so any great planes it would be foolish to say there is only one great. Personally i love the Spitfire and BF-109 as my favorites. To hear the sound of the Spit's Merlin engine and the sound of the BF-109's DB-605 is truly awesome!! Messerschmidt Foundation in Germany Has two 109's... a G-6 and a G-10!!! Oh and get this, They also have a ME-262!!! There is a project here in the States there is an ME-262 Project that builds near exact reproductions of this aircraft including at least two B-1c twin seater variants. they use GE J85 engines, as Junkers Jumo 004's are hard to find, and thus unreliable. Wiki it. Its a good article. Cheers, and clear skies to you!!!
