B-2 constructor accused of selling ’stealth’ technology abroad

b-2 bomberOne of the american engenieers from team, working over B-2 Stealth bomber creation, is accused of divulging state secrets.

By the FBI investigative group representative, 61 years old Noshir S. Gowadia was selling secrets to at least three different countries. Those secret data were related to the bomber “stealth” technology. FBI refused to tell which countries were the information buyers.

From November 1968 till April 1986 Gowadia was working in Northrop Corp company. He was working on the special engine nozzles development. The idea was to decrease exhaust temperature to make aircraft less-visible for infrared sensors. This techology is marked as state secret even today.

As FBI investigator said, on the 23 of October 2002 Gowadia sent document with certain thecnology details he was working on to some foreign representative. By the FBI information this data will allow to create similar systems abroad.

If the charge will be supported engineer may go to jail for 10 years.
