Pre-flight procedures.

All the MiG-29 or MiG-31 pre-flight activities take about 3hrs and take place directly at the Sokol plant (this time does not include travel to Nizhniy Novgorod and hotel check-in).

The first stage takes 1.5 hours. During this stage the tourist talks to their pilot about the flight plan, tells the medic about their health, and is fitted for a flight suit. The tourist is told about the aircraft, its main parts and is briefed on the planned aerobatic maneuvers. Then the tourist will sit in the fighter cockpit to take a closer look at the controls and be briefed on their actions in case of an emergency.

The MiG-29 or MiG-31 flight will take 25-45 minutes from takeoff to landing. During the flight the plane will perform almost all the possible aerobatic maneuvers such as rolls, turns, upside down flight, loops and others.
