Russian aircraft manufacturer RAC MiG has recieved an order of 32 MiG-29SMT fighters from Yemen. The deal is worth of $1.3 billion dollars. In addition, MiG is to repair 66 of the Yemens older MiG-29 fighters in the first quarter of 2007.
Thanks to the recent orders MiG’s order book will almost double to worth of $4.5 billion. This is very delightfull news because MiG’s renevues has growth from the $245 million in 2005 to $1.1 billion in 2007. Despite this, MiG still holds the second largest aircraft manufacturer place in Russia after Sukhoi.
