The world’s budget for fighters in the nearest 5 years will be 81,3 billions dollars

Boeing will produce 274 fighters in the 2006-2010As Washington Profile reports, according to Forecast International prognosis all the countries will spend 81,3 billions dollars for the fighters acquisitions in the 2006-2010.

22,3% of total orders for 18,1 billions dollars (or 274 fighter planes) will get Boeing. A little bit less - 16 billions dollars - will earn Eurofighter consortium, it will supply 258 fighter jets (19,7 percents from total). The third place will be shared by Boeing/Lockheed Martin - 15 billions dollars and 18,5 percents of market accrodingly. Lockheed Martin by itself will get 9,6 billions dollars (11,8 percents of all orders and 263 jets).

At the same time Sukhoi Company has entered into top5 fighters suppliers by the orders amount. Supposedly before the 2010 it will earn 5,9 billions dollars on fighters supplies, which is 7,3 percents of total orders and 197 fighter jets.
