This aircraft was built in 1949, Aircraft Factory Nr84, Tashkent. Used by Hungarian Army mostly to carry paratroopers and towing target-bags for fighters.
In the Hungarian naming scheme Li-2s were called "Teve" (Camel).
After 1958 she was governmental VIP transporter, then in 1974 has been written off and moved to Szolnok, the collection of Air Force's György Kilián Technical College.
Her restoration started in 1997 by Goldtimer Foundation, lasted for 4 years.
