Excellent, very dynamic and beautifull video from Swiss Air Forces, full of deep “skies” feeling. Starring: Gripen, F-18, Tiger F-5 and Mirage.
Extremely recommended.

  4. Hello,

this awesome video appears to be clips from various Lionel Charlet DVS, notably “Vols Blanc” and “Fusion”.

  8. The aircrfat mistaken as Gripen is the Viggen.
It’s also from Sweden - the Gripens ancestor so to speak (and before the Viggen was developped, there was the Draken - which still in use in Austria - now to be replaced by the Typhoon (Eurofighter); which means that the good tradition for neutral states to buy from neutral states is somewhat broken now…

The other aircraft are F5 (developped in the US) - I believe F5E Tigershark was the export-model; there where about a dozen different versions of F5 produced for various uses.

And F18 of course. So beside from the F18 the other fighters are well over 30 years old.

But still the most emotional Video on your site for me.

  9. So sorry. Forget what I posted above - the aircraft I mistook for a Saab Viggen is really a Mirage III…

I just used Google to find and visit the official homepage of the siwss airforce and there you can see Swiss Airforce never used Saab Viggen.

As you can see here these aircraft are Mirage III.

Sorry for the error I made in my first post.
