Official Thunderbirds aerobatic team presentation video. It is something amazing, guys are flying like it is last flight in their lives. Absolutely great, my respectation. One of my favorite video, though it is quite old. Excellent pass on cross-courses, beautiful low-level passes, group pilotage is so close they can touch each other. And, of course, flight through the city of NY is something out of my mind.

  4. The russian knights fly the worlds heavest and most powerful planes out of any aerobatic team.

  5. Yes. I agree with all of you. But the Russian Knights are not so expressive like SU-30MKI.
Its flight is not so nice, its fantastic. Especially during the last MAKS.

  8. I’ve never seen any Russian teams fly such a tight formation. Hallmark of good “precision” jet flying team (since jets can’t do what Sean Tucker can) is a super-tight formation through any manuever.

  10. P.S.: If the F-16s Went against the Su-27 (or 37) The Su’s would get ripped up!!!

  11. Still the Russian are the best…!!

  12. If the Russians were the best, they would still be an International Super-Power.

  13. Enough with the “what if” fights!!! The F-16 may be more agile at certain speeds, but being smaller it has a less capable radar than the Su27 as far as poweroutput is concerned and therefore less “range”. The antenna is smaller so it captures less reflected energy too, reducing the probability to detect targets at specific ranges even furhter… Larger planes can carry larger antennas/TWT’s and has more room for cooling the TWT, more room for signal processors etc. The F-16 should therefore be no match for a larger fighter like the F-14, F-15, JA37, Tornado F3 or the Su27.
The Russians were never an “international super-power”. Back in the days of the cold war the russians did not do much in the way of “controling the world” when compared to UK, France and especialy USA. American hubris is so funny… they are never, not ever wrong… anything they do is for the “greater good”. I saw someone on TV say that in a democracy the military is controlled by civilians. But in USA the military is controlled by commercial/financial interrests. The politicians that makes the decitions are buddies with the rich dudes that sell weapons to the military and the dudes to wich the military is lent out to do the heavy lifting for.

  14. I think that the Russian Knight are very good but they are’nt very agressive like the thunderbirds.
Blue angels have a very good aircraft but the same idea like the Russian Knight.
Thunderbirds are the best because they are very agressive to fly and I like that.

Think the Thunderbirds flying Su-35!! jajaj.

I never see in live the Thunderbirds team in Chile or Blueangels.
They will should to visit other countries like Chile or other countries friend.
I know that it’s very imposible! jaja
but I wish that very mush.
